A PLACE OF FRUITION

EVERY THURSDAY FROM 2-6PM ALL ARE WELCOME TO
COME OUT TO THE FARM FROM JUNE
TILL OCTOBER

Inspiring To...

  • Make the world more beautiful than it needs to be
  • Cultivate personal discernment
  • Build a courageous community
  • Open space for co-creation
  • Work together to create equity
  • Community enriched commodities

We have longed to breath life into this project and we have been patiently waiting for the moment to present itself to us. We have since realized the road unfolds before us how it sees best and we trust in this wholeheartedly. Our hopes are this place will be part of the good we leave behind and it will open space for a new kind of change we ache to see in our lives and the lives of the people in our community. We have been shown endless kindness and we have worked tirelessly and now here we all are.  Welcome!

How it works...

  • Any and all are invited out to the farm on Thursday from 2-6pm starting in June. We may expand days if there is a need.
  • Adam, Courtney and possible employees or volunteers will be close by working on projects or chatting away with other community members waiting to help you how you see fit.
  • Produce, plants, seeds and possible pantry items will be on display and there for the taking. There are no prices or payments but opportunities to donate in a discreet way. Our goal is that no one really knows who donates and who doesn't, there will be directions posted on how this works at the farm.
  • There will be a garden where fresh herbs and produce can be picked if you feel the need to reconnect with the earth or maybe you're just curious to know more. We will also have a little map of the farm layout and if you want to wander to part of it just let us know where you are going and if you'd like us to go with you or not. You must let us know where though.
  • A place of fruition is an open invitation to fill whatever need our farm may be able to fill. These are just a couple of our offerings but really encourage you to shape what it will be!

Our 2023 Calendar

All are welcome to participate and all event are FREE. Our Cookie & Coffee days are at the beginning of each month where you can chat with us about what we are doing at a place of fruition. We have 6 community hosted spaces left and if you have something to share let us know!

Building to...

  • We will collect and share anonymous data that we collect on how much food we move and what types, how many donations we receive, what those donations are used to purchase for Fruition Fridays, and what core community needs are. This information will only be shared with like-minded community building programs or farms that are interested and creating something similar. We choose to add this piece because what we have proposed creating is outside of the norm and needs to be validated in order to spread to other communities.
  • After our first year of operation we hope to offer free programs throughout the farm season to better engage and educate our community. Examples are seed saving, cooking with herbs, taking perennial herb and fruit cuttings, native plant identification, and no-cost preserving. We also hope that other community members offer their knowledge and run some programs of their own which doesn't have to be farm focused just community building.

Questions...

  • Do I need to donate to participate? Absolutely not! It will be your personal discernment that guides your choice but we have no expectations for you to do so.
  • What will my donation be used for? It will help with our farming costs but our hope is that donations will be high enough to bring in other food items such as dried goods to widen our offering.
  • Why are you using this model? We wanted to create a place of equity where those who could pay support those who may not be able to but in a way that both sides are interacting in an integrated way to further drive home we are all the same.
  • What if I want to participate in a deeper way? Start a conversation with us, we are open to holding space for whatever may want to come to life on our farm!
  • Will I be identified in any of the data? No! The who is not the important piece as a lot of data suggests, we believe this only serves to drive communities farther apart. What's important, is what is needed by people and how we are meeting that need!
  • How will I know what is happening? We are going to do our best to overcome social media shyness and share lots of content the day before and the day of about what we will have and what we will be doing!
