What is a CSA (Weekly Produce Share)
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture and all it is a system where you make payments before the season when costs are the highest for us and in return you secure your own weekly share of veggies, herbs and fruit. Basically you get first dibs on what we have available that season in your share! How do payments work? We offer full or 2 installment payments for all our hub deliveries that are collected through the WFM2go website as well as all shares being delivered by them. For the direct farm shares you can pay in full, in installments of your choice or weekly, these payments are made to us directly. How Pick Ups Work Our pickup locations have a delivery team that will help you get your shares and any additional add-ons you may have ordered for the week. All you will need to do is provide your name to the delivery team and they will grab it and place it on a table. Each share is labelled with your name, please be sure you got the right one. You can take the composable share bag but please leave the totes behind. If you have extra add-ons such as meat, eggs, ferments, or flowers they will be placed in the same tote as your share. If you do not make it to your pick-up location on time please call the delivery team and see if you can sneak to the next delivery location or arrange for a pick up the following pick up day. Who Do I Contact With Questions About My Share? If there are any questions with your veggie share please contact us at the farm. We do provide as much info as possible in the newsletter but sometimes you are still left wondering what the heck something is or what to do with is! Just shoot us an email and we will get back to you right away. :) What If I am Away One Week If you are going away on vacation or unable to get your share please let us know as soon as possible so we can make arrangements.You are able to login into your wfm2go account a place your share on hold but this needs to be done a week in advance. We will double your share the following week.If you aren't able to this in time we suggest finding a friend or family member to enjoy your share. How Do Add On's Work Ordering closes Monday at 7pm. You will be able to add over 250 different local products with your order. Payments are processed the day of deliveries (Every Wednesday). What's In The Weekly Newsletter Our newsletter will provide a veggie list, veggie info, recipes, farm updates as well as any information you may need to know. This newsletter helps us to help you to explore seasonal veggies as well as keeps you and us on the same page from week to week. What Are The Risks & Rewards We are committed to bringing you fresh produce every week and you are committed to having a closer relationship with your food and your farmer. We aim to supply your shares to the number of dollars you have paid us but with this said we are not able to control mother nature and do our best to work with her. Some weeks the shares may be over flowing and have you thinking this is way more then I paid for and other weeks you may think the share is lighter then you wanted. This is all dependent on what is going on in our fields. We will always give you updates on what is happening and what to expect, week to week. We work with you and mother nature to get you what you need. We will also occasionally source veggies from other no-spray/organic farms to round out the shares if they are really light and we will let you know when we do so. What makes our CSA special?
